Leg 6 - San Quintin to Turtle Bay
Leg 6 - San Quintin to Turtle Bay

Another long passage. There was a light Santa Ana condition (easterlies that can be quite strong). The wind waves were crossing the
regular Pacific swell making a washing machine effect, not too comfortable. After passing the east side of  Isla Cedros we crossed
over to the coast. By the time we were at Punta Eugenia just north of Turtle Bay the Santa Ana's were roaring 30-35 kts. We
spotted about a dozen whales making their way north close to shore. Too bad the conditions didn't allow us to hang out with them.
We arrived in Turtle Bay about 9:30 am. Always happy to be back on the hook, especially in a beautiful setting.
Freighter traffic along Isla Cedros near Turtle Bay.
Our first fish on rod and reel. This one is a Bonita. Hoping
for a tuna next time.

Still cold day and night.
